Healing Practices and Descriptions

Polarity

Polarity is the art and science of energy balancing, encompassing a broad range of techniques: light touch, firm pressure points, hand and foot reflexology, gentle stretching and rocking, cranial-sacral balance and energy tracing protocols. You remain fully clothed and each session is as unique and varied as every individual.

Reiki

Reiki is an ancient relaxation technique that aids the body in releasing stress and tension. The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words – Rei, which means “the wisdom of the higher power” and Ki, which means “life force energy.” By creating deep relaxation Reiki promotes healing and health. Except for shoes you remain fully clothed during this session.

Reconnective Healing

®
Reconnective Healing utilizes new frequencies which can allow for healing of the body, mind and spirit. These highly palpable energies are initiated by the practitioner at the start of a session and continue working after the visit has ended. One remains fully clothed, face up with shoes off. Sessions typically last 45 minutes.

Massage Therapy

Swedish massage eases tension and relaxes muscles by using long flowing strokes and deep kneading. Pressure may be light or quite deep, depending on your preference. Most massage techniques use lotions and are traditionally performed with the client unclothed; however, you may wear what you prefer for your own comfort. You are always draped with a sheet.

Reflexology

Reflexology is a therapeutic method of relieving pain by stimulating predefined pressure points on the feet and hands. This controlled pressure alleviates the source of the discomfort. In the absence of any particular malady or abnormality, reflexology may be as effective for promoting good health and for preventing illness as it may be for relieving symptoms of stress, injury, and illness. You remain fully clothed.

Integrated Energy Therapy

The IET objective is to provide a simple and gentle way to open the flow of vital life force within the human body and the human energy field by integrating suppressed feelings from the cellular memory and clearing their associated energy blockages. You remain fully clothed for this session.

Energy Therapy with Sound

An intuitive blending of Usui Tibetan Reiki, Karuna Reiki, Integrated Energy Therapy, Chakra Balancing, crystals and sound.Supporting, healing and renewing, the session honors you mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually...creating the space that allows you to clarify, release and align. Sound healing may include toning, Tibetan bowls and the use of tuning forks. Other various sound tools are also available. You experience this gentle technique fully clothed.

Japanese Back Massage

This massage technique uses the relaxing properties of magnetic and far infrared energy enhancing technologies. You lie fully clothed on a massage table covered with a magnetic mattress pad. The practitioner applies rolling motions that sweep gently down from the neck to the hips. Tension often feels like it's slipping away. The process repeats, lasting for 30 minutes. The only contraindication for this experience is a pacemaker, insulin pump, and internal defibrillator.
