Hope's Place offers a safe and supportive environment to grieving children, teens and families through peer support groups - which nurture and encourage safe expression of grief and loss. Hope's Place honors each child's individuality and his or her process towards discovery of resiliency and emotional well-being.
Sessions for children and parents meet concurrently: young people meet with others their own age, and parents/guardians with other adults. Children and teens are encouraged to process grief through the healing arts, music, dance and play.
Hope's Place services are free. To learn more, please call 873-3615 ext. 11 or sarah@hvwa.org.
